Three months later and I am back. Yep. It happened again. I got pregnant and nauseous and stopped blogging. I really only felt sick weeks 6-15, so I don’t have a great excuse as to why I haven’t blogged in the last month. Thanks for your patience. 😉

Yesterday I turned 20 weeks pregnant… doesn’t that sound funny? I guess I should say the baby is 20 weeks ready? No that sounds weird, too. You get the point. We’re halfway there! We don’t have names yet. We aren’t finding out the sex {again, sigh… for all of my impatient friends and family members} so we have the difficult task of agreeing on a girl’s AND boy’s name. Any suggestions? We don’t want popular, we don’t want weird, easy to spell, not too old, not too trendy. 🙂

Enough with baby talk… onto what you are here for. FOOD!

Darrin was sweet and made Albany and I eggs before he left for work. I picked a good guy, didn’t I? We shared this huge plate + her bowl. I don’t know how many eggs he cooked for us both, probably four-five. Albs is an egg-eating machine, I tell you.

I found a few water chestnuts in my eggs. eeeeeek. I typically throw in a handful of frozen onions and peppers when I make eggs. He threw in a handful of Asian stir-fry veggies. All was okay… besides the water chestnuts.  He tried. 🙂

Albs and I ran errands all morning. I had a Lara Bar when I got home, along with swigs from the milk carton.

Duuuuuuuude, I am craving milk, specifically Albany’s whole milk. I gave up all dairy from March-July because of my food sensitivity results. I sipped some of Alb’s milk from her water bottle one day and have been obsessed since.

I snacked on a peach and got some work done when she napped.

When she woke up, she had a late lunch and I snacked on a few dates and cheddar cheese. I absolutely love the combo of dates with white cheddar cheese.

I had a huge salad before I left for class. I teach class on Thursday evenings, so usually I eat a little before and then have my dinner when I get home.

Darrin made dinner while I was at class, so I just reheated it when I got home. He even remembered to take a pic while he was cooking so I could share.

I love, love, love brats with spicy brown mustard, sauerkraut and peppers. He skipped the sauerkraut last night, as he isn’t as big of a fan as I am. 😉 He said he cooked the brats on the stovetop with a little oil, a spoonful of spicy brown mustard and fresh peppers/onions. SOOOOO good. He also made baked potatoes on the side. I topped mine with shredded cheddar, sour cream and salt/pepper. Delish.

Looking back on my day of eats, I had cheese four times! Ha. Like I said, I gave up dairy for four months… that was tough. I clearly love my cheese. 🙂
